OAMC x LOUVRE

OAMC x LOUVRE
Photographed by Ben Beagent in Stockholm, October 2022

OAMC has partnered with the Musée du Louvre and has developed a six-piece collection featuring artworks from the Department of Paintings of the Louvre. The selected artworks convey the concept of life and death, a concept that resonates strongly with the times we live in.

Les ombres de Francesca da Rimini et de Paolo Malatesta apparaissent à Dante et à Virgile (1855) by Ary Scheffer is printed on a padded and quilted liner made from water-repellent recycled polyester poplin, as well as on a loose-fit crewneck sweatshirt in brushed Italian cotton. Allégorie de la Victoire (1635) by Louis Le Nain is printed on a silk patch and applied on the back of a light overshirt made from English polyester Panama and on an oversized short-sleeved T-shirt in organic cotton. A silk patch with the artwork of Paul Delaroche, Le Jeune Martyr (1865), is decorating the back of an elongated bomber coat and a loose-fit shirt made from Colombo Italian acetate/viscose poplin.
